Bev Arlequeeuw cuts the ribbon on Grand Opening January 24, 2024

On December 25^th, 2022, a 2” water suppression line had a failure in one of its joints. Water poured into the library from this break covering the entire facility in up to 4” of water. SERVPRO of Central Auglaize, Hardin, and Logan Counties was called in and within 24hrs we had essential drying equipment set up and damaged books packed and shipped out to our national headquarters in Gallatin, TN. With the help of Disaster Recovery Team and the SERVPRO HQ freeze chamber we were able to salvage all books from the main area and minimize loss from the local history room that was hit the hardest by the loss.
